[Membroj] LL Zamenhof, with the goo-goo-googly eyes

I'm still reviewing Internet article on the Zamenhof-tago, one of
biggest Esperanto highs I've ever had (on an otherwise godawful
day). Most of the news items are about Google featuring the
Esperanto flag. There are a number of news items concerning the
exploitation of the Zamenhof doodle to disseminate malware, e.g. . . .

There are some news reports that don't focus on google, such as
celebrations in Poland:

one day, Esperanto is the word on the street

One article has a particular historical slant, i.e. the persecution
of Esperantists, with text from a book that treats the subject in detail:

for Speaking Esperanto

There are numerous other blogs and announcements. The reader
commentaries also very. The Washington Examiner is distinguished by
the most vicious readers' comments--right-wing and anti-semitic--I've
yet seen. Thank you Washington:

There is also much resentment concerning the omissions of the Bill of
Rights day--among the same sort of people, curiously. This is not the
150th anniversary of the Bill of Rights, last time I looked. I don't
recall any constitutional amendments passed in 1859. The biggest blow
struck for freedom that year was John Brown's raid on Harper's Ferry,
which began Oct. 16.

Once again, here's my web page in progress:
